Robert C. Ross, Jr. - President & CEO Since founding PointClear Communications in January, 2000, Robert Ross has been committed to developing efficient, reliable communications solutions. He has led the way to create the first email software technology designed for specific industries, providing built-in encryption and many other features for organized and secure internet communications.
In addition to PointClear Communications, Mr. Ross also founded Xante Corporation in 1989, at age 27. Mr. Ross currently holds three US patents. These patents are in the areas of data encryption, electrophotography, and image dimensional accuracy. Before founding Xante Corporation, Mr. Ross worked for QMS, Inc. from 1983 to 1989 as an engineer and a product manager for several PostScript printer products.
Mr. Ross earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama in 1984. He serves on the Board of the School of Engineering for both the University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama and the Board of the School of Computer Sciences at the University of South Alabama. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Accelerated Technology and also a former member of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. In 1996, Mr. Ross was recognized as Alabama's Small Business Person of the Year.
J. Mark Swanzy - Chief Operation Officer Mark Swanzy is responsible for managing the overall operations of PointClear Communications. He has more than twenty-five years experience in management, finance, and accounting. Previously, he served as an equity partner with Seibert, Baxter, and Company, P.C. CPA's and as senior accountant with Smith, Dukes and Buckalew, CPA's. Mr. Swanzy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Martin E. Kennedy - Vice President Marty Kennedy joined PointClear Communications as Vice President in April, 2000. He manages all daily activities of the company, including sales and technical support functions. His previous experience includes the position of software engineer and product line manager for QMS, Inc., and management of marketing and international sales departments. Mr. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer management from Spring Hill College.
Arthur Verwey - Vice President of Marketing Arthur Verwey has over ten years experience in international sales and marketing management within the computer hardware and software industry. He is responsible for all marketing and promotional activities for PointClear Communications. Previously, he worked in sales and marketing for a computer hardware and software distributor in the Benelux region. Mr. Verwey is a graduate of Haags Montesorri Lyceum in the Netherlands specializing in international business with a concentration in marketing and sales.
Kenneth O. Parker - Vice President of Engineering Ken Parker oversees the complete development of software technologies for PointClear Communications. His previous experience includes several engineering positions with QMS, Inc. Mr. Parker received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Alabama.
Mary Ann Harris - Controller Mary Ann Harris has more than twenty years experience in accounting and supervisory positions. Previously, she worked as a senior accountant with Sirmon and Frenkel, P.C.'s and was employed by Smith, Dukes, and Buckalew. Mrs. Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from St. Louis University. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1988.
