 Advanced Read Receipts - Communication from the BAR to its members is vital. Notification that the users receive the information is essential. Read Receipts are used by typical e-mail client software in order to inform the sender of the viewing of an e-mail. However, when issuing a Read Receipt request of an e-mail with a large number of recipients, these systems become cumbersome. For example, the BAR sends an important document to its members. E-mail is issued and Read Receipts are requested. As the members open the mail, the read receipt is sent to the BAR. With all other e-mail client software, thousands of Read Receipt messages would be received in the BAR inbox. With PointClear LCS, these Read Receipts are instead used to generate an active report tracking these receipts for that particular message. This is forever an active report, tracking incoming read receipts as they are received. Copies of these receipts may also be stored in designated personal folders for the individual recipients. |
