PointClear Reader - PointClear Reader is packed with features such as encryption and redlining, but these are only useful if clients and colleagues can share in their use. In the past, users have to license compatible versions of software applications in order to share functionality. With PointClear Reader users do not have this obstacle. PointClear Reader is the software application that makes this possible. PointClear Reader is an application that PointClear users can freely give to their clients or colleagues (or have them download at www.pointclear.net/reader) so that no matter who's email application they are using, they can communicate securely, along with important features such as complete redlining capability. Once installed, encrypted email from PointClear users are received into any users email software as the attachment "EncryptedMessage.xmf". Double-clicking that attachment will automatically execute the reader and display the encrypted message and allow the receiver to reply with secure full 128 bit public/private key encryption. Also with PointClear Reader, users can create new secure email and exchange redlined documents to any other PointClear user.

Due to matters of U.S. national security related to the encryption technology contained in PointClear LCS Reader software, its export is controlled by the U.S. government. Punishment for export and re-export to certain countries includes imprisonment and fines.

Locations and persons that PointClear LCS Reader software may not be exported or re-exported to include: Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, the Taliban-controlled areas of Afghanistan, and persons/entities prohibited from receiving U.S. exports (including Specially Designated Nationals, Denied Parties, and entities on the Bureau of Export Administration Entity List).

Import and/or use regulations in non-U.S. jurisdictions may also apply to PointClear LCS Reader software.

Compliance with all U.S. and non-U.S. regulations regarding export, re-export, and import to prohibited destinations, individuals, and use are the sole responsibility of the end-user.
